Description
Phospho-ICK (Tyr159) Polyclonal Antibody. ICK is a 632 amino acid protein, belonging to the CMGC Ser/Thr protein kinase family, containing a single protein kinase domain. It is an intestinal serine/threonine kinase harboring a dual phosphorylation site found in mitogen-activating protein (MAP) kinases. It localizes to the intestinal crypt region and plays important role in intestinal epithelial cell proliferation and differentiation and is also needed for cardiac development. ICK is expressed in heart, brain, placenta, pancreas, thymus, prostate, testis, ovary, small intestine, colon and in many cancer cell lines.
