Plays a role in embryonic stem cells proliferation and differentiation. Up-regulates the expression of FABP5, MYC and cyclins A and E. BioVision's Ep-CAM ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of human Ep-CAM in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of human Ep-CAM captured from the samples.
