Delta-Toxin is produced by S. aureus and is translated from the RNAIII transcript, a key player of the staphylococcal quorum sensing system (agr). delta-Toxin is a major virulence factor of S. aureus and primarily causes cytolysis in red and white blood cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Cytotoxicity assay. Western Blot is not recommended.
