Immunogen
A recombinant protein corresponding to the C-terminus of rat NF-M was used as immunogen. The epitope is localized to within the last 56 amino acids at the C-terminus of rat NF-M. The region is referred to as the KE segment which is highly conserved between NF-M molecules from different species.
