Description
FOXP1 Polyclonal Antibody. Forkhead box (FOX) proteins are a group of 43 conserved transcription factors that are further divided into subgroups. The FOXP subgroup has four members, FOXP1 to FOXP4, which are widely expressed and contribute some critical roles in organ development, immune response, and cancer pathogenesis. FOXP1 is a transcriptional repressor that plays an important role in lung, cardiac valve, and B cell development. The FOXP1 gene is located on chromosome 3p14.1 and it may act as a tumor suppressor since the defect of FOXp1 gene was identified in multiple tumor types.
